Lions and Elephants

Good morning everyone :o)
Time for another fun challenge at MDUC. This week the challenge is BINGO.
I thought I'd mask together these two cutie pies from 2009 Pets collection with the Tulip Path from Butterfly Dreams 2011.

The card itself it quite tall to fit my Ellie and Lion tower, approx 7 inches tall and 4.5 inches wide. I've punches around the edges with my MS Cherish punch set and then folded both sides of the card inwards.
There is some cheesecloth, a paper doily and metal corner, along with some flowers and rhinestones and stickles.

The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts.
All images are coloured with Copics.

I hope you get the chance to join us at MDUC this week, we are choosing the winner by random org this week and the winner will be our GDT for April!

Until later, thanks for stopping by!

Tilda in Bathcap

Happy Monday everyone :o)

This little cutie arrived in my mailbox the other day and I couldn't wait to ink her up. She is "Tilda with Bathcap" and she is sitting on "Bath Tub", both stamps are from the new Princes and Princesses collection just released. I have also used the new Kurbitz flourish from the same collection, and the Especially for you sentiment from an earlier collection. This is an amazing new collection chock full of gorgeous stamps. It was a really tough decision narrowing down my selection when I was placing my order :)

The flowers, lace, ribbon and brads are all from Wild Orchid Crafts....

The papers are MME Lost and Found 2.  All of the layers are stitched together and the images coloured with Copic markers. The bath has lots of glossy accents on it and the bubbles lots of stickles :) I really enjoyed putting this card together.

Thanks for stopping by today,

Edwin and his Plane

This HAS to be my favourite Magnolia stamp of ALL TIME! Yup, I said it - all time!
And why? It is the perfect interpretation of my little boys. My eldest has curly strawberry blond hair, and my youngest LOOOOVES all things aeronautical. So this stamp is the perfect combination of both of my little guys. Thank you Pauline for creating a stamp which suits my babies perfectly :o)

This card is for MDUC's challenge - Old Treasures.  The old treasures on my card are buttons from my dad's old shirt. My mum saves me all of the buttons :o)

I masked Edwin with Plane (Princes and Princesses) onto the Soccer bench (Winner takes it all) and then stamped the sweet Tim Holtz sentiment on the side in Weathered Wood DI. I really wasn't sure how the card was going to turn out, I don't really make cards like this often, lol, but I love the end result. The papers are October Afternoon Rocket Age and I have inked them with Old Paper DI.

The string and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just punched some holes and added some copper eyelets for a bit of a boyish touch.

I hope you get a chance to play along with us at MDUC this week. We are sponsored by Tilda's Town and there is a fantastic prize up for grabs.

I hope you're having a great crafty weekend. I'm still not 100%. I wish my sinus infection would go away!! Oh well... at least there is ample time to sit around colouring in ;)
I have something else to share with you tomorrow so until then, have a great weekend.

Diving Tilda

Hi there Maggie friends :o)
I inked up Diving Tilda  and made a Shaker card. If you are looking for a tutorial on shaker cards, look no further than the TOMIC blog.

This is the first time I have cut into a new Kaisercraft paper pad I have "Sweet Nothings" and wow, it will not be the last! I adore that background paper with the vintage sky and bird, gorgeous! The scalloped circle is also cut from the Sweet Nothings pad and has some lovely gold foil detail.

All of the flowers, pearls and pearl string are Wild Orchid Crafts. The beads in the shaker card are from my stash.

I have been home sick all week - actually, its been 8 days, *grumble grumble*. Its nothing serious, just a sinus infection, its just enough to make me very grumpy, lol. I am on antibiotics but they don't seem to be doing a great deal. I think I may need to head on back to the doctors on Monday if I am still not right. Sigh... there is always something isn't there? haha. Oh well.
I'll be back tomorrow with something else to share for MDUC :)
Until then, have a great weekend!

TOMIC TIME!!

Its TOMIC time!
Wohoo.  This week the challenge is Feathers and Flowers + Liza's sketch.
I had a great time playing with the sketch and inked up little Gymnastic Tilda (The Winner Takes It All collection 2011)  for some fun.

The corners are stamped with the new corner stamp from Princes and Princesses.
I decided to use the sketch a little bit differently.

My card is shaped on the front panel and opens out with a belly band.
The papers are MME Miss Caroline.

And the rear of the card.

I hope you get a chance to come along and play with us at TOMIC this week!

Feather and pearl embellishments - gift from lovely Anne Kristine
Flowers - Wild Orchid Crafts

Thats it from me today. I hope enjoy the rest of your week,

Happy Birthday MDUC!!

Wow - we have turned three years old! Wowee - where did the time go?
There is a birthday celebration over at MDUC and you are invited!!
The challenge this week is the theme BIRTHDAY - so anything you create with a Magnolia stamp and the birthday theme is eligible for entry to win a fantastic prize from our sponsor.

I would like to take this opportunity to say a massive thank you to my MDUC teamies - they are the reason that we have been so successful over the last three years - all DT, past and present! You have all been and continue to be the most wonderful people and crafters, xxxx.

I decided to finally ink up Tilda with Winter Flowers, the last of my Sweet Crazy Love stamps. She is coloured with Copics.  The papers are gorgeous Pion Design.

I cut my teapot shaped card with my Cricut machine and went to town with the liquid pearls and gorgeous flowers. The Magnolia flowers are Petaloo, but everything else is Wild Orchid Crafts.

We would love you to join us for our birthday celebration! The blog has had a total revamp for our celebration with new banner and badges.

I hope you have a fantastic week!

Time for some Yoga...

Hi there everyone! I am writing this post as quickly as I can as I don't trust that my computer is going to get me through... today it has been a bit iffy... I picked it up around lunchtime and opened the lid - it made a crackling sound and smoke came out the side. Oh-my-goodness.... Cross your fingers and toes for me as I really don't fancy it breaking down on me! Anyway...

The adorable stamp is "Yoga Tilda" from The Winner Takes All collection from Magnolia.
The papers are MME Lost and Found. The embellishments are all Wild Orchid Crafts.

I hope you are having a lovely Monday. The rain has finally stopped here and the sun was out for most of they day (yipee!!),  lets hope it stays that way for the rest of the week.

Thanks for stopping by.... I hope my computer is just having an off day so I can come back to chat a bit more with you later in the week!

Super Edwin

Good morning!
There is a new challenge at MDUC this morning - Buttons and Bows.

I inked up cute little Super Edwin. Can you believe that I hadn't had a play with this stamp yet? OMGosh.  He is so cute! I know superheros are supposed to be blue and red, but that just wouldnt have worked with my papers now, would it! haha. I added some glossy accents to his boots and mask.
The papers are new MME and all of the embellishments are from my collection.
I cut the stars on my Cricut.

I hope you get a chance to join us this week. The challenge is a nice one and can be for both male and female cards. Actually, I just heard that I have the need to make a baby card so I think I'll be using buttons and bows again this week ;)

Have a great weekend everyone, thanks so much for stopping in to visit me.
