Tilda Tilda

Its colour challenge time at MDUC!
This fortnight we're looking for BLUE, BROWN AND WHITE.

I've inked up the adorable Libra Tilda from the new Zodiac collection, she is so sweet.

Flowers are a mix from Magnolia and Wild Orchid Crafts.

My beautiful blue bow and pearl string is from the Ribbon Girl

Tilda is coloured with Copics.

The gorgeous papers are Maya Design. Love them!
I hope you have a chance to join us this week, we have two fabulous sponsors - the Ribbon Girl and also Tilda's Town.

Happy birthday MDUC!

Hi there everyone! I'm finally here with my card for MDUC's 5th birthday!
This fortnight the challenge at MDUC turns 5 years old, something we're very proud of.

Unfortunately it is also a bitter sweet birthday as our DT "Mum" Debbie P is leaving us :(
Debbie has been at MDUC since the very beginning. Karen and I came in 12 months later. She has worked tirelessly and with so much love behind the scenes for the DT. She means the world to us and her absence is going to be very much missed.

We are VERY lucky to call her our friend but there are other exciting things in store for Debbie down the track. Debbie Hunny, we miss you already.

My card for the challenge is actually a gift for Debbie and I have three little Tilda's on the front who are supposed to represent Debbie, Karen and myself.

The papers are old Pink Paislee "Sweetness" from about 3 years ago :) I've used one of my MS Punch around the page sets for the pretty doily edge and all of the papers have had a little touch of white paint added to soften them.

Most of the embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl. I've also used some Doo Hickey dies and my trusty sewing machine to stitch around the edges.

There is still a week to go for the challenge even though I am a little late in posting my card. We're sponsored by Magnolia for our birthday challenge so pop on over and check out the work by the amazing DT, I love our girls, they are so loyal and wonderful, as much as they are talented.
I hope you're inspired to join us and help celebrate our 5th birthday challenge

Until later,
Have a great week, Hugs x

Cancer Tilda

Happy weekend everyone :)
I am finally back with a new card to share featuring one of the adorable new Zodiac stamps from Magnolia - this is Cancer Tilda.

Tilda is coloured in Copics. The papers are Glitz Design "Hello Friend" and all of the embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl.

I've used some Ranger white paint dabber to soften the colours and some Doo Hickey dies.

Tilda, isn't she a cutie!

I love this Zodiac collection :)

I hope you get some time to craft this lovely weekend.
I'll be back on Tuesday with something else to share, until then, happy colouring!

Matryoshka Tilda

Hi again everyone,
It is mid challenge reminder time at MDUC
We're looking for BUTTERFLIES.

This is an adorable stamp sent to me by a DT friend. I didnt have any of the Little Moscow collection stamps so it was a happy surprise to be sent one to play with.

The papers are by Glitz "Hello Friend".  I love the colours and have even cut into some from the same pad for my next card :)
My friend Debbie Dolphin used this adorable "dogwood" flower die last week and I had to have it :) It is so cute.

Most of the embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl.
I hope you get a chance to join in at MDUC - we'd love to see your butterfly creations!

Until later, Hugs x

Happy Birthday

Hi there everyone! It feels like its been a little while since my last post, but surly it can't be that long can it?
There is a new challenge at The Ribbon Girl challenge this week - Birthdays!

There are loads of cute Ribbon Girl goodies on my card. Needless to say, I have had a lot of fun with the embellishments on the card!

I've also used a lot of doo hickey dies, Love them!

The Peony die is a particular favourite of mine, I think it was one of the first doo hickey dies released and I just love it.
The papers are Kaisercraft (I think).

You can never have too many birthday cards on hand for special occasions.

Until later,
Hugs x
