Magnolia Advent Calendar - Day 12

Welcome to day 12 of Magnolia's Advent Calendar!
I am very happy to have you visit me today.

For my project, I have made a Swedish Candy Cone and decorated it using Divine Tilda, Doo Hickeys and a few other little bits and pieces.

Here is miss Divine Tilda - isn't she a sweetie xx

Poinsettias and stars cut using Doo Hickey dies

A pretty jewel, bells and a little wooden reindeer

The paper lace around the edge is also cut using a doo hickey die.

A tag and some buttons to finish it off. The sentiment is also Magnolia from this year's Christmas collection.

I hope you enjoyed what I had to share with you. I certainly had a lot of fun making it.

Just remember to leave a comment and you could win an amazing prize from Magnolia.
I will announce the winner on the 14th.

And don't forget to keep checking in daily to see the work from the rest of the team!
Hugs

Snowy Branch and Bull Finch

Hello there,
Are you enjoying the Magnolia advent calendar this year? The girls are really putting on a wonderful show for you. It is my turn later this week.

Time for a new Christmas card. This one is a little shaker card. I haven't made one in a while so it was a bit of fun to do something like this for a change.

I have used a lot of Ribbon Girl products on my Christmas card, including clear dewdrops for inside the shaker.

The stamps are Snowy Branch (Waiting for Christmas collection) is masked with the Bull Finch from an older collection - I think So Snowy. The images are coloured with Copics.

I have a couple ore fun projects to share later this week as well, I hope to see you back soon.

Hello friends,
I am finally back with a new card. A Christmas card for MDUC who has a new challenge today - a Tic Tac Toe board with a twist - ready for the holiday season.

I have masked together two older stamps, this adorable moose from the Turning Leaves collection... 2012 I think it was and the adorable fence from a very early collection.... I can't recall exactly which year it was but always a goodie for a scene.

All of the embellishments are from the Ribbon Girl - lovely!

The papers are Maja Design - ohh how I love these papers, they were a gift last year and I've been putting them to good use each chance I get.

The scene was stamped using Zoe's no lines technique, doesn't it give such a nice soft result.

I hope you get along to play at MDUC this week! Tilda's Town are sponsoring with a fabby voucher to give away.

I will be back on the weekend with another card to share :)
I have my new craft room half set up so I feel inspired to colour and create! Mind you I've just tonight unpacked my Big Shot and am yet to locate the cutting matts..... hence no die cuts on my card!  I best get back to searching I think.

Until later,
Hugs xx

Shadow box card

Hi friends,
Time for Christmas!

My card showcases a cute little "Write a message Tilda" which isn't actually from a Christmas collection at all, but I thought she was versatile enough to colour up nice and festive.

The card is a Shaddow Box Card, if you want to have a go at making one yourself there is a tutorial HERE

I hope to be back with another card soon, until then, take care xx

Yellow and pink for a sunny Sunday

Good morning all,
I've been trying to get back to this card all week long. I actually began colouring over a week ago and it was intended for MDUC's current challenge - Pink, Yellow, Lace and Pearls but will have to serve as a mid challenge reminder instead.

The stamps are all from the new stamp club but in the usual Magnolia style, they are so versatile they can be used for any occassion, so I've made a girly card instead.  The new stamps are so pretty. It is a friend's birthday this week so I thought she would like a pretty girly card.

The ribbons, pearls and flowers are all from The Ribbon Girl.

Wee Tilda is coloured with Copics as usual.

I'd like to invite you to come and join MDUC's challenge, there is another week until it concludes.

I'll be back soon with some more cards made with these adorable new stamps

Puppy Love

Hi Maggie friends

I've masked together two of the cutie Magnolia puppies, Wilma from an earlier collection and little Viola from the Little London collection, the just look too adorable together. I've coloured them with Copics in black and white.

The embellishments are all Ribbon Girl goodies.

I've "fussy cut" into some lovely paper that had the prettiest rose pattern on it as well. I have a hard time cutting into pretty papers, I tend to save them haha.

I hope to be back again this week with another card! Yep, my poor Copics are getting some attention :)
Until then - have a great week

Only 83 days til Christmas

Yep that's correct - there is only 83 days until Christmas. That probably means that there is only 73 card making days left if you account for postage time ;)

The Magnolia stamp club couldn't have arrived at a more perfect time. My stamp club and Doo Hickey club both arrived within two days of each other and they are both drool worthy.

I don't know what this little beauty's name is yet but she was the stamp that I saw first and had to colour first. She is just gorgeous. The poinsettias are to die for.  The doo hickey club is equally as impressive. I've used the snowflake border die to make an edge for little Tilda.

The papers are also Magnolia. The embellishments are all from The Ribbon Girl - check out those cute pine cones. Love them.

And a little more detail of the new die flowers.
If the club stamps are anything to go by, I am really looking forward to seeing the rest of this collection. Pauline always goes all out for the Christmas collections.

I will be back in a couple of days with another card to share with you.
Until then, enjoy your weekend.

Here I'm Tilda!

Good morning friends.... I seem to be getting back into my colouring slowly.....

This is Here I'm Tilda from Pink Lemonade and she is making a shy appearance for MDUC's newest challenge - Shabby Chic.

The papers are Magnolia as are all the dies I've used.
To shabby things up I've distressed the edges and used a lot of gesso.

The image is coloured with Copics.

I hope you get a chance to come and play along this fortnight, we'd love to see you there,

Summer tilda with Flags

Hi friends, well, I am back. This time with a card, just for fun. This little lovely has been begging me to colour her up since she landed on my desk. She is Summer Tilda with flags from the new Pink Lemonade collection.

She is coloured with copics, as is the background. The dies are Spellbinders Grands. Its a fairly clean and simple card for me.

The sentiment is by LOTV. Its so sweet xxx

Until next week,

Tilda with Big Big Rose

Hi dear friends,
I'm back after a little break.
We've had a hard few weeks here and it felt nice to pick up my markers and forget about everything and just colour my beloved Tilda.

finally inked up this adorable new stamp from Magnola's Pink Lemonade collection, Tilda with Big Big Rose.

Thanks for stopping by today,  I hope to be back soon with something else.
Fingers crossed!

Winter wonderland

A winter wonderland card to share with you today

I've masked two stamps from the Christmas collection from last year for some fun, then coloured in Copics. I'm a little rusty. I've not been colouring as much lately - and it is very obvious!

The papers are yummy Maya design, a gift from my teamie, Janne (thanks Hunny).
All of the embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl - so many gorgeous goodies in that store! Now is the time to get your Christmas craft supplies too.

Until later,
Hugs xx

Finally I'm back with a card to share!

I love the warm summer theme - although it is freezing cold and winter over here in Aus!

I have loads of gorgeous Ribbon Girl goodies on my card.

I have masked two Magnolia stamps together, and fussy cute another Edwin out to join them. All are coloured with Copics. I've coloured the boys in to resemble my little boys :o) The card is for my Dad for his birthday.

A bit of doo hickey die cuts and some distressing and we're all done.

Sneaky Tilda

Hello dear friends,
I am finally back with something crafty to share with you. I don't feel like I see my craft desk nearly as much as I would like to any more. Gone are the happy days when my boys were little and would take naps and I could disappear into my little world for a couple of hours a day. Ahh, I miss those days.
And I miss all of my friends too. Oh, the happy days!

These hot air balloon stamps remind me a lot of my early crafting days - they were in the first big order I placed with Magnolia :) Back in 2009. I can't believe that I have been doing this for five years.

This cute little missy though, is Sneaky Tilda from the newest collection, Animals of the Year.
My bookmark is for Magnolia Down Under Challenge's PINK PINK PINK challenge which began today.

The lace, pearls, flowers and divine twine are all from The Ribbon Girl.
Ribbon Girl and Tilda's Town are sponsoring our challenge this fortnight with a random and DT chosen winner. Its well worth a try to enter.

Hopefully I see you soon

Tiptoe Tilda

I made a birthday card with one of the newish stamps from the recent collection Animals of the Year. This is Tiptoe Tilda and she is so cute :)

I tried to colour her in some muted tones for a little change.

All of the embellishments are from The Ribbon Girl - and I just looove those gorgeous blue dahlias.

I hope to be back soon with another card... fingers crossed!

Tilda with Maggie the Monkey

Good morning friends :)
There is a new challenge at MDUC today! This time we have a Tic Tac Toe board for you to play with.

I had this adorable Tilda with Maggie Monkey stamp to ink up and a friend's birthday tomorrow - who just happens to love monkeys! What excellent timing.

My friend also loves yellow so of course this gave me a great chance to break out some lovely sunny papers.

I choose the line on the Tic Tac Toe board of Chipboard, Buttons and Yellow.

The twine, resin corners and gorgeous ribbon are all from The Ribbon Girl.

Have you seen the new Magnolia webstore? Very exciting!!!
There is also a Doo Hickey club about to begin. I know I will be on that list ;)

I hope you can come and enter at MDUC this fortnight, we have two great sponsors and we love to see your amazing creations!

Hugs xx
