Hi friends,
Gosh, where to begin! Things here have been a little tense lately. Last night I just needed to sit and paint... so that is exactly what I did. Luckily for me my new stamps and papers had just arrived from The Crafty Witch so I was able to get inky with this adorable new Edwin and church background.
As soon as I saw little Edwin on his bot-bot with his skis, I had to have him. I am the world's worst skier, lol, so I had to sympathise, haha. The Swedish Church background was also a must have.
I used my DIs to colour the scene and stamped around the edges with the Magnolia Snowflake stamp.
The papers are Magnolia as well, Scandinavian Map from the Supper Memories collection. Some Doo Hickey die cuts and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts, and job done.
I'm slowly getting used to the DIs and painting. Its just practice. The right paper is definitely a must though. We dont really have much of a choice of papers here in Aus, but I am lucky enough to have a Swedish "supplier" of some lovely water colour stock - thanks Louise! It is amazing.
Well, thats it from me today. I will be back on Sunday with more, but maybe I can try and sneak in another card between now and then... we'll see! I hope so.
Until later, Hugs x
