Edwin makes an appearance

I made a card which reminds me a lot of my little boy, Aiden. He is always munching away on apples, loves planes and LOOOOVES green. Anything green... his shoes are green, he likes green ice cream, everything - except broccoli - haha, I can't seem to trick him on that one ;)

The cute Edwin and the Apple are from 2012, Sweet Crazy Love collection.

My cute little birdy

I was pretty happy how the masking turned out.
I've had some requests from some lovely ladies to show you what colours I've used on my cards, so here they are below:

If you see anything you like, you can click on the links below to go to the store....
That's it from me for today... Maybe I will have something else to share later in the week, until then, have a good one!

Summer Delights

Hi everyone! Just a little bit excited over here today - our FB challenge is going live as we speak!
Have you joined the group yet? If not, just head on over HERE

Today is also our MDUC blog midway challenge reminder as well... You have until Sunday to add your entry to challenge #227 - Summer Delights!

Some pretty Ribbon Girl supplies - Starburst Stamen Pink , Canterbury Rose Pink, Heart shape Sparkly buttons, pink button twine.

The sentiment is from the Little Yummy for your Tummy collection. The papers are all Magnolia as well and I've used a Doo Hickey die for cute the lacey edge on the card.

Another photo of the pretty flowers :)  I stamped Tilda in Memento Summer Sky as I wanted to use Zoe's no lines technique.

I hope you can join both our blog and Facebook challenges!

Piping Tilda

I survived the first week back at work! I do have yet another sore throat though, not sure what is causing that, hmmm... anyway! I found some time this weekend to sit at my desk and create.

This is Piping Tilda from the Special Moments collection, isn't she adorable? I have masked her with the Shelf with Kitchen Towels from the So Heavenly collection (2008). I love how all of the collections can be mixed and matches to create your own personal little scenes.

A view of the cute little Cutlery Doo hickey die, love this one!  Lots of lace on this card. The sweet blue lace is from The Ribbon Girl (20mm Dusty blue cotton lace). So is the lovely pearl bead string and amazing Darjeeling Grey/Blue Blossom Flowers.

Tilda is coloured in copics and all of the paper edges are inked in Tea Stain DI.

More Doo Hickey die cuts - Doily, Tag.

Did you see Magnolia Down Under Challenges has started a new Facebook Challenge?
We're all a bit excited about it. The first challenge kicks off on Tuesday 21st, so head on over to the new group and check it out!

Can't wait to get started and interact with you all a little bit more.
Of course we're still running our blog challenge - our first one of the new year starts on Tuesday - so keep an eye out!

Until then, keep crafting!

Tilda with Spring Heart

Yep, back again with my last card before I return to work tomorrow. I fear that I won't be at my craft desk as much from this point onwards. I have really enjoyed giving my markers a good work out these last two weeks.

This is a little card, but with a Marianne Createables die and features the cute little Tilda with Spring Heart  (Lost and Found collection) masked to the Flower Cloud (With Love collection 2013).

I've used Zoe's "No lines" technique to stamp. I find it is a great way to practice colouring to achieve depth.

I used the Doo Hickey die Romantic Lace to create the paper lace around the image.

The pretty pink berries and pink twine are from The Ribbon Girl.

As much as I am sad my holidays are over, I am looking forward to catching up with my wonderful work mates tomorrow.
I'm sure this renewed addiction to my craft desk won't fade and I will try to be back with more to share as soon as I can.
Have a great week,
Hugs Kylie

Tilda Rose Scent

Yep, still glued to my craft desk!
The new Magnolia collection, Lost and Found are just TOO adorable!

This is Tilda Rose Scent and I have masked her with Tilda's Dressing Table.
The papers are MME "Lost and Found", haha, I just realised as I was typing.

Lots of Frantage on this one. The hearts were fussy cute from the design paper. A large crystal at the top is from Prima.

Possibly one of my favourite stamps of all time I think! I adore her hair :) And her fluffy slippers.

I might be back tomorrow with another card.. see how we go ;)
Thanks for stopping by.

Bunny Prince

Happy New Year to you all.
I was lucky enough to receive in the post on Monday the new Magnolia Stamp Club - omg - a package of total cuteness. I've made two cards with these stamps already, I'm hooked!
The new colletcion is called Lost and Found and I couldn't resist inking up this cute little fella first, Bunny Prince. I've masked him with the flowers that also came in the kit.

I cleaned up my craft desk a few days ago and located my edge distreser haha, so I put it to good use.

The little bunny looks a bit surprised, doesn't he?

The sentiment is from the 2009 Pets and Animals collection. The papers are Prima "Delight".

Flowers and brads are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I'll be back tomorrow I guess with something else so share. Until then, I wish you a super crafty new year!
