Australian Tilda

Hi there everyone

Ok, I confess - I'm a hoarder. A paper hoarder. I have amazing papers in my collection that I just cannot bear to cut into, but for this challenge I bit my lip and scored, punched and painted the most adorable Pink Paislee papers and teamed them with adorable little Australian Tilda.

There are so many Wild Orchid Crafts goodies on my Napkin fold card.

The sentiment is a rub on from Kaisercraft.
Edges punched with a Martha Stewart PATP set, some liquid pearls and white paint to finish off.

I hope you get a chance to join us at WOC this fortnight. The girls have created some amazing works to share with you. Jaw dropping stuff.

Thats it from me today. My little man turns 3 tomorrow so we have spent the day making his birthday cake and getting ready for some visitors. He is so sweet, all he asked for is a green "buttaloon" (balloon). So proud : ) Needless to say, his big brother and I loved wrapping his birthday pressies together tonight. I'm not sure who is more excited, the birthday boy, his proud big brother or his mum and dad :)

Mmmm - BBQ

Well... it is the beginning of a very cold winter here in Aus, one of the coldest on record for decades.
I needed a warm up so had to ink Burger Tilda and Tilda's BBQ from the new Summer Memories collection. Aren't they adorable?? I really love this cute little Tilda and she's been sitting on my desk for a couple of weeks waiting for me to give her some attention.

All of the flowers are Wild Orchid Crafts and the adrorable papers are Echo Park This and That. Love them!! Perfect for a summery project.

Have you seen that there is an adorable new collection soon to be released as well?
OMG - I can't wait til these newbies hit the stores, this adorable little Tilda on the Turning Leaves Collection promo is simply too cute!!

I'll see you all a bit later on,
til then, have a lovely day :o)

Edwin's Oldsmobile

Hi there everyone. Happy Sunday to you all.
There is a new challenge up at MDUC today and we have a fun BINGO card for you to try out.

It was my Dad's birthday on Wednesday so I made this card for him.
I adore the new stamps from the Summer Memories collection and the Barbed Wire Background with Edwin's Oldsmobile. Perfect for my Dad.

I coloured the car to look as though it had been sitting in the paddock rusting over the years. So very Australian.

The options from the bingo card I have used are Charms, Die Cuts and Paint.

I hope you have a great weekend planned.
I'll be back on Wednesday with something for the next TOMIC challenge.
Until then...have a great week!

Kneeling Tilda

Hi there everyone.
What does the weekend have in store for you?

I have a fairly simple card to share today. I felt the cute little scene said a lot so I didnt need to add many layers.
This is "Kneeling Tilda" which has been masked with "Mushrooms with Snail" (stamped twice), both from the Sweet Rainbow collection.

The images have been coloured with Copic markers and the pretty edge is a Doo Hickey die "Antique Lace".

Thanks for checking out my card today.
Have a lovely weekend,
Hugs Kylie

Tilda with Snow Heart

Good morning friends,
I meant to share this card with you yesterday but the day went too quickly.
Yesterday was my 6th wedding anniversary and also my parents 40th wedding anniversary! What an achievement hey? So its been a very busy weekend.

My card is for both Magnolia Down Under's WINTER challenge and The Sketchy Challenges, Lizzie's sketch. Both challenges have fantastic sponsors lined up so you don't want to miss out!!

The flowers are all Wild Orchid Crafts. I love these new Hip Rosebuds. They are stunning.

I coloured Tilda with Snow Heart for my card. She was one of my favourite from last Christmas :o)

Well, I hope you had a good weekend.
Thats all from me right now.
Have a great day!

TOMIC #53 - our one year anniversary!

Hi there everyone,
Can you believe it is the first anniversary of TOMIC already?  Where did time go?
The theme is ANYTHING GOES!
Magnolia have lovely prizes and the DT are giving away our cards as prizes as well.

This is Tilda with Winding Flowers from the new Summer Memories collection.
I love this little sweetie.

The sentiment is Lily of the Valley. I've used my Spellbinders Labels 10 dies to create an easel card.  The pretty papers are MME Lost and Found 2.

I've added lots of glitter and flowers from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I hope you get a chance to come and play at TOMIC this week, we'd love to be able to send a card to you!
Until the weekend, that is it from me.

We da Same!

Hehehe, "we da same!"  is something that my youngest says when he and his brother happen to wear something similar. Its so cute. And my card and this week's challenge at Magnolia Down Under remind me of him and the funny things he says.

The challenge at MDUC this week is "Seeing Double" - we want you to use two of the same thing on your card. This could be anything... use the same stamp twice, use a large stamp and a mini of the same, two ribbons, two anything really.
For my 'seeing double" element on my card I have stamped the Magnolia Branch (Sweet Rainbow Collection) twice on my background.

This Edwin is one of my favourites. He is Edwin with Airplane from the Princes and Princesses collection.

And this is Heartbreaker Edwin from the Raising the Ceiling collection.

All of the gorgeous flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts.

I've also used the new Doo Hickey Corner die. Its so pretty! Along with a few other Doo Hickey dies :)

I hope you have something fun planned this weekend. I'm hoping the rest of our weekend is nice and quiet. It began a little stressful but I think we might have resolved our big problem so that is a huge weight lifted.

I hope to be back mid week with another card to share with you. I've been finding it difficult to get busy at my craft desk lately so I will have to find some inspiration somewhere. I am please to be able to say that my inspiration for this card last night were my gorgeous little sons. We love them to bits.
