Edwin and his Plane

This HAS to be my favourite Magnolia stamp of ALL TIME! Yup, I said it - all time!
And why? It is the perfect interpretation of my little boys. My eldest has curly strawberry blond hair, and my youngest LOOOOVES all things aeronautical. So this stamp is the perfect combination of both of my little guys. Thank you Pauline for creating a stamp which suits my babies perfectly :o)

This card is for MDUC's challenge - Old Treasures.  The old treasures on my card are buttons from my dad's old shirt. My mum saves me all of the buttons :o)

I masked Edwin with Plane (Princes and Princesses) onto the Soccer bench (Winner takes it all) and then stamped the sweet Tim Holtz sentiment on the side in Weathered Wood DI. I really wasn't sure how the card was going to turn out, I don't really make cards like this often, lol, but I love the end result. The papers are October Afternoon Rocket Age and I have inked them with Old Paper DI.

The string and flowers are from Wild Orchid Crafts. I just punched some holes and added some copper eyelets for a bit of a boyish touch.

I hope you get a chance to play along with us at MDUC this week. We are sponsored by Tilda's Town and there is a fantastic prize up for grabs.

I hope you're having a great crafty weekend. I'm still not 100%. I wish my sinus infection would go away!! Oh well... at least there is ample time to sit around colouring in ;)
I have something else to share with you tomorrow so until then, have a great weekend.
Me.
